Effective Sandbag Training
Sandbag training includes various strength and stability exercises. Some effective exercises are:
• Deadlifts: Strengthens hamstrings, glutes and back.
• Squats: Improves leg strength and core stability.
• Lunges: Strengthens legs and glutes.
• Clean and Press: Builds strength in shoulders, back and legs.
• Sandbag carry: Walk with a sandbag in a deadlift position to strengthen your grip, legs, and core.
• Sandbag Shoulder Toss: Pick up the sandbag and throw it over your shoulder for explosive power and a full-body workout.
Pay attention! The Sandbag must be filled by yourself
Filling the Sandbag:
1. Preparation: Make sure you have a suitable filler, it is recommended to use dry play sand for best results.
2. Filling: Open the YKK zipper and unfold the built-in opening. Then fill the sandbag with the desired amount of sand, but make sure not to exceed the maximum capacity in kg. Tip: Drop the sandbag a few times after filling it, so that the sand is evenly distributed in the sandbag. You can optionally close the sandbag according to step 3. The more movement in the sandbag, the better the weight is distributed, making it easier to add sand.
3. Closing: Close the filling bag securely with the Velcro fastener and roll up the top section so that it can be slid behind the zipper. The zipper can then be closed.
4. Usage: Your sandbag is now ready to use!
